We all have things we mean to read, but never quite find the time, whether it's a bunch of unopened tabs, or an ever growing pile of books by the bed.

I'm rereading Marc Bloch's "Strange Defeat". It seems kind of appropriate as the tramp of jackboots echoes around Europe again.

I intend to dream about making travel plans by reading parts of my Lonely Planet Switzerland and I should still continue with the German Harry Potter. Unfortunately, my German isn't very good yet, so I basically have to translate every sentence in my head before understanding it. So annoying and slow going.

I'm horribly burnt out in terms of energy by being with family members recovering from surgery. I'm caught up on DW and LJ, which is saving my sanity, but very little else.

Also my phone died on Monday night, which isn't helping for the rest of social media & news (e.g. Guardian).

I'd love to finish Skunk Works but I'm not sure it'll happen until next week.

I'm keeping up with my reading page, but that's it. I have the new Charles Stross book, but I haven't started it yet.

I did clean out all my fountain pen nibs today though - and am intending to do it regularly. We'll see if I actually manage THAT lol

Planning to read my reading page and friends page as usual. Planning also to read through a bunch of back work-journal entries to get them processed and closed. I would like to read that Sarah Rees Brennan book that's sitting behind me taunting me.
