I have read my reading page, my friends page, the latest installment of seanan_mcguire's Velveteen Vs. saga, some Twitter, a spot of fanfiction, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, some more of the absolutely riveting quips file in work bugzilla, plus a snippet or two of the Wikipedia article on rainbow tables. My friend Sunny is of the opinion that nothing would suit Mr. Angel Clare from Tess more than to open a shipping-box to meet an ill-tempered swan. So I had to find out exactly what he had done in order to deserve that. Nothing good, I am afraid. The other chief villain of the piece has some rough justice administered within the text, and is no longer in a condition to open shipping-boxes, otherwise Mr. Alec d'Urberville should have got one as well.
