How did your weekend reading go? If you planned on anything specifically, did you read it?

I finished off Dear Committee Members, an entertaining short novel written in the form of Letters of Reference. The main character (an aging male academic) is not the most likable personality. Fortunately, it's his repeated failures to have his worldview validated that keep the reader engaged and amused.

I also read a lot of Brexit coverage, when I could cope with it. And sometimes when I couldn't - I've been through a lot of hankies this weekend.
