What have you been reading today? Everything counts, from the user's manual to the back of the cereal box!

I finished The Character of Rain by Amelie Northomb a couple days ago, finished How To Think More About Sex by Alain de Botton, and have been steadily reading through Red Herrings and White Elephants by Albert Jack. I'm at about 70 pages now. I'm also a little further on In Every Port by Karin Kallmaker.

I'm hoping to maybe finish a book a night, since there's a lot of interesting books left at the vacation house, but I don't have a lot of reading time, just before bed.

I read & responded to a backlog of e-mail. I also went through all the presentations from a meeting a couple of weeks ago & filed away the important bits in memory (& in my diary).

Student work. Which wasn't making sense - meeting with the student today it turns out that the version I was working wasn't the right one, and the *older* one was the one I should have been reading. Go figure.

Today I have been reading nutrition labels on dairy products. Because the kind of dairy sensitivity I have means it depends on more fine-grain information than 'is it dairy? y/n'.
