Sourdough is on my bucket list. Hope yours came out delicious! Do you plan to keep a starter growing permanently?

Found a copy online of the manual for the vintage yogurt maker I unearthed from the back of the closet. \o/ I shall start a batch this afternoon, so it can incubate overnight. I've made it before in the crock pot, and it was a success, but it's fussy to do. The yogurt maker is brainlessly easy - no need to monitor the temperature and so forth.
