Today I have read the programme of performances for the winter season at the Sam Wannamaker playhouse, which is the Globe's indoor theatre.

Also much twitter.

I read the labels that listed the empanada fillings at a stall on Borough Market, to stock up before the play.

Lots of spreadsheets and technical documents. The Economist "Espresso". Some Guardian articles. A bit of the most recent issue of Private Eye (in the bath).

Almost through The Total Package by Stephanie Evanovich and Spark Joy by Marie Kondo.

Half a King (Joe Abercrombie) -- mildly disabled younger son accidentally becomes king on the death of his father and older brother, is betrayed, has to survive. The disability is a malformation of the hand; it is relevant to the story, but this is not inspiration porn. Well written, good world building, interesting (and varied) characters, and yet I was a bit bored. Highly recommended for those who like quest/high fantasy, or those who want a quiet afternoon.
