Wednesday Intended Reading Post (17th June)

Or: what DIDN'T you read this week?

We all have things we mean to read, but never quite find the time, whether it's a bunch of unopened tabs, or an ever growing pile of books by the bed.

What's on your to-be-read list this week?

Seanan McGuire's The Best Thing at Thrillbent. I paid the money to get access to the chapters that are locked to subscribers, so I should have read those chapters by now. But I have not had time and brain simultaneously.

ooooh. that looks interesting. Given that I don't have an assignment due anymore, I might just treat myself to starting from the beginning...

All those open tabs. *headdesk* There are more every day - are they breeding?

definitely *nods* must be the season for it, because every time I turn my back on my browser, there is another. Maybe they are related to mogwai? I say this, because it has just rained here, for the first time in ... weeks?

Hee! I had to look up mogwai. And yes, I think they *are* related!

*facepalm* I'm showing my age again, aren't I...

Yes. Yes you are! But not in the way you think! I was in my 30s when Gremlins came out and uninterested in what I saw as a children's movie. :)

oh, I was exactly the target age - I'm pretty sure everyone I went to school with (high school) went, but everyone outside that range only went if they were accompanying someone else!

More of Rome's Revolution. More of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Maybe a reread of the three volumes of Alix Senator that are out.

Can you sense a theme? Hint: the theme is late Roman Republic/early Roman Empire.

I'm changing which of the pile of must-go-back-to-library books I'm hoping to have looked at. I have 'The Psychological Register book III', which I want to look through and make some notes on for a project that is a mere 14 months past when I said I was going to do it (and the book has been sitting there for that whole time, which is kind of rude of me).
