Wednesday Intended Reading Post (24th June)

Or: what DIDN'T you read this week?

We all have things we mean to read, but never quite find the time, whether it's a bunch of unopened tabs, or an ever growing pile of books by the bed.

What's on your to-be-read list this week?

I have a group of about 20 or so tabs of fest fic that I've been meaning to read/comment on. Hopefully going to make a dent in it this week! Even just getting through a few would be a success, I think.

Most unusually, I've managed to do some book reading but failed utterly at keeping up with baseline social media other than commitment to updating communitiea. I'd quite like to fix that and catch up with DW and LJ and Twitter before the weekend.

Darkness Over Cannae. THIS WEEK-END FOR SURE. Might even start Tumulte à Rome (this week the theme is the Second Punic War!)

Get caught up on social media/news articles after having lost power - and therefore internet - for most of Wednesday (hence the late reply *g*).

I gave up on *all* the work library books, and returned them.

Which leaves me with a bit of a vacuum as to what I should read, especially as I'm in inter-semester break.

I think I will aim to read three journal articles that are sitting on my virtual desktop. I could easily do it in an hour, if I don't get distracted, and I pick the right three articles....
