Section one of the assigned readings text for my women's studies class for the fall. It's very...dense. Also that's basically the "establishing parameters" section—it has a whole chapter on how this fictional individual is being oppressed without any of the people responsible for her oppression having done anything on purpose to oppress her, for example; I learned this from the internets years ago—so I have not yet encountered any new concepts.
(I have no idea which of the chapters I'll be required to read, but I want to have a head start on them, whichever they are.)
