My ev0l fic-finding plan didn't pan out, but I did some interesting reading on how to wrap things with furoshiki cloth.

Yep! My only nephew is getting married this weekend and I wove a bunch of kitchen textiles for their gift (towels, place mats, napkins, pot-holders), plus beadwoven napkin rings to match. Ordinary wrapping paper just wouldn't do. *g*
