User documentation I wrote years ago (which I was pleasantly surprised to find is quite good, with only a few minor updates needed).

But mostly reviewing lecture slides for a guest lecture I said I'd give on Thursday and have only just remembered. Er. At least I remembered more than 24 hours in advance. /o\

A recovery pamplet, and I finished a therapy book I've been slogging through. The end was much better than the beginning so I'm thinking there was some that sunk in maybe.

Next book is going to be for pleasure only. I need a break from therapy books.

At least you did remember. Someone I know just turned up for a guest lecture a week earlier than the organization had expected, so you are not alone in these errors.

It's good to reward yourself with pleasure reading for doing all the hard work reading. When I was at uni, I would buy a new (full price, recently published) novel at the end of each semester, to mark the break between those types of reading.
