I read the first deluxe edition of Fables and it was Awesome. I have the second one waiting for me but I'll let it wait until I hit another snag as I hope it will be just as Awesome if not more Awesome (Awesomer? :D).
I read a bit of Deep Ancestors. Interesting enough, but I couldn't keep my focus. For illustrative purposes, I also read the first half of Poison Kiss by Ana Mardoll—remind me to rec it enthusiastically when I get to the end, unless Mardoll fucks up in the intervening text—and that's the longest I've managed to sustain attention on one (non-fanfic, though for the most part I haven't been able to focus on long fanfic either) text in...quite a while. Months and months.
Another chapter of Friday Brown, not enough uni notes, started Wonder by ?Palacio?, another few chapters of Goblin Emperor, and a bit of The man who mistook his wife for a hat. All the books are from this years planned reading list, so I'm happy with that. I wish I didn't find them all (other than Wonder) exhausting though.
