I haven't read either Cat Valente's Radiance or Nick Mamatas's The Last Weekend, despite both being next to my bed for over a month.

Necessity, Jo Walton, sequel to The Just City and The Philosopher Kings. Just came out. I'm trying to use it as bribery to get my classwork done this week.

The problem is, I had to put this one down in order to go to bed, and then I managed to lose it, and then ever since I have needed to do something else within proximity of thinking of it.

Lovelace and Babbage has been on my 'real soon now' pile for a while, there are several academic papers I 'should' read, and my email is completely ridiculous.
