I bought Frances Hardinge's The Lie Tree in the airport and finished it on the trip home. It was fantastic. I'm very excited about giving it to my eleven year old niece for Christmas.
I actually managed to read what I was supposed to read. Unfortunately, that meant I didn't read the stuff I wanted to read. That either means I have too little time, or that I have too many obligations.
ETA: Martin Buber on Israel/Palestine, a few chapters in Barbara Tuchman's A Distant Mirror, and a chunk of a novel about the Ba'al Shem Tov.
