Fic! I've been going through 2017 hd_erised, and a lot of stuff recommended in the Bujold and S4S discords.

(Shooters for Snipers is for https://archiveofourown.org/works/20644262/chapters/49023794 , which is somewhat understated by the additional tags. Amelia Bones calls in a favor, and the FMA crew comes to help. And "help". Ed is trans and 1000% ready to fuck shit up, which pretty much sums up the author's feelings about JKR as a person.)

Sounds like a lovely way to spend time! I sadly fell entirely out of love with HP fandom quite some time ago. I am intrigued to hear that there is a Bujold discord ....
