All The Email. I really would like to get all three inboxes to <100 (or lower) by the end of the year.

Also, the book on gender theory sitting next to me.

And progress *any* of the current books that are being read aloud to the family. Preferably Monstrous Regiment.

I love Monstrous Regiment. It was the first Pratchett I lent to my dad, and he has since read nearly all the rest.

I started reading it because there was a random copy on a bring out your dead pile. And then finished it before bed that night, as well as reading two chapters to the kids. Have now given the extra copy to a workmate, who was a bit suspicious of the idea of reading anything Discworld until I pointed out that while it had crossover characters, it didn't really fit with any of the other books. I may possibly not have said anything more about it, other than 'I really love this one'. I have hopes...

That's one of the reasons I picked it as a starting point.That and it's very good and lots of great stuff about gender and war.
