Kept up with social media & e-mail, but didn't respond too much due to stonking cold acquired from baby. Thanks, baby. (Baby is now fine, of course.)
For weeks I haven't read much of anything that is longer than a couple of pages that *isn't* work-related. The occasional article in The Economist or Nature, skim-reading the Guardian, and some childrens' books are about the extent of my consumption. I really hope I can catch a break over the holidays and bury myself in a novel or two.
I did it! An entire weekend with no work documents open - not one. Read Twitter, a few chapters of a novel, a bunch of weaving-related historical bits and bobs. It was great.
