A book!

Finally sat for a few hours and read a mystery. It wasn't all that great but the sitting and not being distracted was good. It was On Laughton Moor by Lisa Hartley.

Essays on Stanley Kubrick's life and his relationships with people. I'm doing essay research myself... but it's all interesting and useful!

I'm nearly finished with The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman

I finished reading Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris, which was great. I've never read Sedaris before and will be reading more. There's an essay which tells of his time in art school at a point in his life where he was constantly stoned on crystal meth, and it was the funniest thing I've read in years.

Now reading The Man Who Went up in Smoke by Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo, which I'm enjoying quite a lot.

My reading progress is slow ATM because I've become addicted to the show Suits on Netflix, and am watching that instead of reading.

I started watching Grimm on Netfilx thinking I probably wouldn't like it but would check it out, 4 seasons in and it turns out I like it a lot. At least I am managing to get some knitting done ;-)

Finished The Maltese Falcon, on to a Sherlock BBC fanfic, The Last Case of Dr. John Watson by susan. It's based off of the plot from a Starsky and Hutch episode, "A Coffin For Starsky." Two of my favorite fandoms, woohoo!
