What haven't you read yet this week?

We all have things we mean to read, but never quite find the time, whether it's a bunch of unopened tabs, or in a precarious tower of books by the bed.

What's on your to-be-read list this week?

American Gods (overdue at library). With Clean Minds and Clean Hands. Small fucking mountain of books on food history / economics. (I have at least got partway through Salt!) Queering Religion, Religious Queers.

*looks guiltily at the sack of books just acquired at the library book sale*

Eight Days of Luke (Diana Wynne Jones) and Nine Princes in Amber (Roger Zelazny), both of which I wanted to have reread ASAP.

I always feel I'm racing a library due date. So many books, so little time. I finished Hidden Figures on the due date yesterday and am working through Elizabeth Strout's Anything is Possible due on the 11th. On my bedside table is a tower of library books, at least two more are waiting to be picked up, and I have to stop myself from requesting more. At least they're free?
