What haven't you read yet this week?

We all have things we mean to read, but never quite find the time, whether it's a bunch of unopened tabs, or in a precarious tower of books by the bed.

What's on your to-be-read list this week?

This weekend I wanted to be that person lounging about, sipping espresso, and listening to records, whilst reading Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood. I don't usually have such preconceived notions about books but I do about Murakami, who I've never read. I got 30 pages in by Sunday and realized it wasn't going to happen. It was due at the library in a few days, I couldn't renew it because someone else wanted to live out their literary fantasy, I suppose, and I had other books that sounded more fun to read. I didn't hate it, the start of it, but it was turning out to be a chore (something to tick off rather than enjoy) so I moved on.

I'm currently reading Liane Moriarty's What Alice Forgot and Noah Hawley's Before the Fall.
